New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman released the following statement, responding to today’s decision by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in his lawsuit against United Parcel Service, Inc., for unlawfully shipping contraband cigarettes:
“Today’s decision is a win for New York and a win for public health.
Oneida-based state police arrested Douglas A. Davis, 56, of Route 5, Vernon, for DWI following an accident investigation Thursday afternoon.
