(Cazenovia, NY – March 2013) Catherine Cummings Theatre and Live Stage Entertainment presents singer-songwriters Dusty Pas’cal and Kevin Barrigar, with guest Danny Welch on harmonica Saturday March 16. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. Admission is $14 at door or call 315-655-STAR.

Dusty Pas’cal is considered by many to be one of the top singer–songwriters in the Central New York region; influenced by artists like Kris Kristofferson and Jim Croce, as well as his own father, also a songwriter. He’s opened for Bruce Hornsby, Livingston Taylor and POCO, to name a few.

Dusty is joined by sought-after harmonica player, Danny Welch, for his set.

Dusty’s three studio albums, “Home” (2006), “More” (2008), and “Human Heart” (2012) have garnered attention in Central New York and across the nation; several tracks have been featured on local radio stations and internationally on XM Satellite Radio. Both “Home” and “Human Heart” have been nominated for “Best Americana CD” at the SAMMY awards.

Kevin Barrigar also came from a large musical family. As the ninth child, Kevin’s talent as a singer developed early, when he began singing Elvis songs with his family’s band, The Christopher’s. He has shared the stage with the likes of singer/saxman Joe Whiting, fiddle great Hal Casey, Australian guitar wizard Tommy Emmanuel, and five time Grammy winner Lloyd Maines. Besides being a solo act, Kevin performs with his bother Loren, a world class fingerpicker.

Kevin’s debut studio album, “Since I Got You” (2009) contained several original compositions and received great reviews. He’s currently working on two new CDs and his fans are awaiting news about his audition on NBC’s “The Voice.”
