(Chittenango, NY – Aug. 2013) McGowan’s Hardware announced recently the grand finale winner of its popular annual shopping giveaway, taking home $1,000 in merchandise.
On June 1, David Marshall was chosen as the winner of the McGowan’s DoitBest Hardware store $1,
000 shopping giveaway. Marshall was selected at random from the more than 1,000 entries submitted from March through June 2013.
He said the winnings came at just the right time.
“Lots of spring and summer projects to do,” Marshall said. “I love shopping at McGowan’s – they are local and convenient.There is always helpful staff on hand.”
Debra Newton, one of the owners, said McGowan’s Hardware is delighted to provide one of its customers with the opportunity to make their summer projects a little more exciting.
“Everyone has a few extra chores this time of year, and we’re glad that David will be able to choose whatever tools he wants to get the job done,” Newton said. “We thank all those who entered the giveaway for their participation.”
