(Oneida, NY – Nov. 2013) Mix 106 WMCR Radio and the Nye Automotive Group celebrate the 30th Share a Caring Christmas event planned for Dec. 14.
The public can help children in Madison County who are less fortunate by bringing a new or used toy in good condition and place it under the tree at Nye Automotive, located on Route 5 in Oneida.
Toys will be distributed before Christmas.
The public is also invited to Share a Caring Christmas held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. where Santa arrives on a fire truck and entertainment by local musical groups is provided during the entire event.
Mix 106 will broadcast live.
Free refreshments also will be available.
The St. Patrick’s School Choir begins performing at 10 a.m. followed by members of Otto Shortell School Choir and Fritz’s Polka Band. Groups from Sherrill, VVS, Chittenango and DeRuyter follow. Oneida Mayor A. Max Smith closes out the show with a solo performance.
All toys must be in by 1 p.m. that day.
