(Cazenovia, NY – Aug. 2014) The Friends of Lorenzo and the Greater Cazenovia Area Chamber of Commerce present a free night of entertainment on the front lawn of Lorenzo on Thursday, Aug. 14. So grab your lawn chairs and blankets, and plan to spend a nostalgic summer evening at the home of Cazenovia’s founder.
Beginning at 7 p.m. the music of the Cazenovia Community Band will set the mood for the showing of “Moonstruck” at dusk.
After a brief intermission, the 1987 romantic comedy starring Cher and Nicholas Cage and Olympia Dukakis, “Moonstruck,” will be shown. Nominated for six Oscars, the movie won three of the coveted awards. This movie tells the story of widowed bookkeeper, Loretta, as she navigates relationships with the man she has agreed to marry, Johnny, his brother, Ronny, as well as a host of other classic characters.
Popcorn and bottled water will be available for sale that evening.
