LD_Hailston_2014(New Hartford, NY – Sept. 2014) Lt. General Earl Hailston, Ret USMC, to deliver the Keynote Speech on Leadership at the Revolutionary Trails Council’s 2014 Leadership Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford.

Hailston grew up in West Winfield and is a product of local Scouting. In 1962, he earned the rank of Eagle. With leadership training in hand, he entered the United States Marine Corps and, for over 36 years, served in a variety of operational and staff assignments. His last tour of duty was as the Commander, Marine Forces, Central Command and Commander, Marine Forces, Pacific. During this time he led the Marine Component during operations in Afghanistan and during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In January 2005, Hailston joined Rolls-Royce as the VP U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps Programs. In 2008, he was reassigned as the Senior Vice President of Defense Relations, Rolls-Royce, North America.

Currently, Hailston serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Uniformed Services Benefit Association, which provides a family of affordable insurance and financial products and services to military personnel, Federal employees, National Guard and Reserve members.
