(Cazenovia, NY – Sept. 5, 2014) The Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined the official cause of death to be multiple stab wounds. The Investigation is continuing.

The New York State Police, assisted by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Cazenovia Police, are investigating a death at 4481 East Lake Road, Cazenovia, NY.
Amy Bradstreet, age 44, was found deceased inside her residence at that location Sept. 1
Troopers have arrested Stephen Schumejda, age 31, who lived with the victim for second-degree Murder, first-degree Assault and fourth-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon committed during a domestic incident.
Schumejda was arraigned in the Town of Cazenovia Court on $250,000 cash bail.
The investigation is continuing.
