(DeRuyter, NY – Sept. 2014) DeRuyter Central School District has been named a $10,000 grant recipient for America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund. On Monday, Sept. 15, representatives from the school and from Monsanto participated in a check presentation to celebrate the grant. Local farmers who nominated the school for the grant also attended.
