(Canastota, NY – Sept. 2014) WAREhouse, a new 501(c)3 in Canastota, is running a “create-our-face” contest. We are trying to design our new logo so that our promotional creations can begin. WAREhouse, short for Wild Animal Rehabilitation and Education House, Inc., is a federally recognized non-profit with the mission to rehabilitate and release wildlife in Central New York that have been found ill, injured or orphaned.
The winner of “create-our-face” will receive $150 cash.
The creation of the logo must be an original. Any previously trademarked design cannot be used. Submission of the logo must be done with an application for submission, including all of your contact information and a $15 submission donation. All proceeds go directly to WAREhouse and the mission to rehabilitate.
There will be one winner with a $150 cash prize. Students welcome. Winner will also be recognized in press releases and social media. Once the prize money is accepted, the logo becomes property of WAREHouse. All submissions should be in .ai and .jpg format.
The logo should be easily reproducible on shirts, hats, letterheads, etc., in color and black and white.
Our colors are orange and white, though there is no requirement to have those colors in the logo.

Please send a copy of this to the school for the children to have a chance to get involved in this. This I believe would be a great way to get the word out there and also a reason to teach our children how important it to save n heal animals of all kinds. I think you will find donations to be a a heart felt way of giving also for this in our community. thank you
