Morrisville State College

(Morrisville, NY – Sept. 2014) Morrisville State College head men’s soccer coach Kyle Graves has announced that the program will be holding a fundraising game for the Region 1324 – Morrisville, Eaton and Peterboro American Youth Soccer Organization Saturday, Sept. 20, as the Mustangs take on conference opponent Bryn Athyn College.

Funds raised during the contest will be donated to the local AYSO, benefiting several youth in the area who take part in the program. The Mustangs will have a TV raffle and a prize raffle that will include soccer apparel, signed memorabilia, etc.

At halftime of the contest, the two older AYSO groups will be holding an exhibition scrimmage to showcase their talents and will get a chance to meet with Mustang players after the game.

Morrisville State has been instrumental in its community services initiatives, holding benefit games for several non-profit organizations in an effort to increase activity and love of sport by various youth in the area.

With their efforts, the men’s program is hoping to raise more than $2,000 to benefit the local AYSO. If you are interested in learning more about the fundraiser, or wish to make a donation to their efforts, contact Coach Graves at graveskj@morrisville.edu or 315.684.6678.
