Cazenovia library new

(Cazenovia, NY – Sept. 2014) Jenna Wright is calling all kids, young and old, to the Cazenovia Public Library Community Room for two fun-filled building opportunities.

LEGO MY LIBRARY will be held on Monday, Oct. 6 at 3:30 pm.  Using the Library’s collection of LEGO and Duplo blocks, children and their families will have the opportunity to build and create something spectacular.

And don’t miss the BLOCK PARTY in the Community Room on Monday, Oct. 13 also at 3:30 pm, when everyone will be creating something using the Library’s large wooden unit blocks.

The Library is a place for discovery and imagination, and these building programs fit that mission. Building offers children the experience of making their imaginative musings come to life.  By introducing them to these hands-on experiences with science and math, children not only learn how to build different structures but how to also make them stronger and taller.

Both programs are recommended for children ages 4 and older, and, as always, both are free and open to the public.

For more information on these building parties or other events at the Cazenovia Public Library, call 655-9322 or visit www.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org.
