(Town of Lenox, NY – Oct. 2014) “The Night Flight-Myths and Mysteries of Bats” will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17, at the Great Swamp Conservancy, 8375 N. Main St., Canastota.
This is a natural history presentation by biologists Mike and Julie Fishman. They will tell you about common misconceptions and wonders of nature’s only flying mammals. Learn about the nine species of bats that live in New York state, as well as White Nose Syndrome, the fungus that is killing millions of our natural pest-controllers.
