Special Shopping and Dining Trip Planned
(Madison, NY – Oct. 2014) On Nov. 7, Madison County Office of the Aging offers a bus trip for $10 to seniors who reside in Madison County to browse and shop in Madison-Bouckville antique shops during their Holiday Open House. Stores are decorated for Christmas and offer cookies, cider or hot cocoa to shoppers.
If you don’t know what to get for that person who has everything, try giving something special and unique to our community. Several cash raffles on the coach may pay for it.
The $10 price is supplemented by the Madison County Office of the Aging and includes lunch at Quacks Village Inn. The menu choices include roast beef, turkey or pork with stuffing; butter crumb haddock, sautéed chicken marsala or chicken parmesan. After dessert, a warm, chauffeured coach will take participants to different antique shops in Madison, Bouckville and Pine Woods to complete a fun holiday tour of shops you may not have visited before.
