4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18: Art Exhibit Reception

The library invites the community to a special reception celebrating the artwork of The Americana Village Quilters. This display will feature the talents and creations of their many members, including quilters from Hamilton, Earlville, Sherburne, Bouckville, Madison, Waterville, Morrisville, Cazenovia and Manlius, and will remain on exhibit until Dec. 15. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library.

3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20: Thanksgiving Crafts for Children

Colgate’s Konosioni Honor Society will be on hand to host Thanksgiving craft-making for school-aged children. Preschoolers are also welcome with parental assistance.

6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20: Community Room Tech Training

Back by popular demand, Matthew Davis, the Hamilton Public Library’s digital coordinator, is hosting another session on how to use the new technology in the Community Room: how to use your laptop or the library’s laptop with the projection system, how to use the document camera, DVD player and other items. This will be hands-on tutorial to walk you through the process from beginning to end, so bring along any devices you would like to have help connecting to the projector.
