(Nov. 2014) Alyssa Crane (17) of Chittenango and Nicholas Labbate (18) of East Syracuse, members of the CNY Karate and Kobudo Schools Competition Team, were recently invited by the Amateur Athletic Union to compete and represent the United States at the 2014 WUKF World Cup in Poland.
The two athletes are second degree black belts and are students at Le Moyne College.
As members of the AAU USA National Karate Team for the 2014-2015 season, they are honored and humbled by this invitation.
Their coach is Sensei Marvin Labbate, director and head coach at CNY Karate and Kobudo Schools, located in East Syracuse.
