jogging-or-running(Troy, NY – Dec. 2014) The Liberty League has announced its year-end cross country honorees and six Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athletes garnered All-League recognition. Earning his way on the First Team on the men’s side was senior Jacob Andrews of New Woodstock.

The All-League Teams are determined based on place of finish at the Liberty League Championship, which was held Nov. 1 in Saratoga Springs. Individual finishers in spots 1 through 7 earned All-Liberty League First Team honors while finishers in places 8 through 15 were recognized as All-Liberty League Second Team honorees.

Overall in the men’s championship, Andrews (New Woodstock / Fabius-Pompey) was fourth, finishing in 25:31. Andrews went on to represent Rensselaer at the NCAA Championship in Ohio. He was 52nd in the field of 280 competitors.
