Update
(Madison County, NY – Dec. 9, 2014) The Travel Advisory issued by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office this morning has been extended through Wednesday, Dec. 10. At this time, there are no travel restrictions in place.
Snow is anticipated throughout the overnight and into tomorrow, and icy surfaces could become a hazard for commuters.
Caution should be used in traveling area roadways. Give yourself adequate travel time and allow extra distance between vehicles.
The public is urged to keep updated on weather conditions throughout this evening and into tomorrow by tuning into your favorite media outlet or the National Weather Service website.
