GSC logo high res(Town of Lenox, NY – March 2015) Junior Birders is a series of educational and fun meetings for kids currently in kindergarten through third grade who would like to learn more about birdwatching, meet new friends, help birds and have a great time.

Each meeting will take place at the Great Swamp Conservancy and run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. twice a month in April through June and September through November on certain Wednesdays starting April 8.

A child may attend one, some, or all of the meetings which may include habitat gardening, crafts, outdoor exploration, research, and puppetry. There is no fee for the workshops, but registration is required.  Registration forms must be received no later than two weeks in advance of the first meeting you sign up for.  We encourage a one-time sign-up for all desired meetings. (Nov. 4 and 8 should both be attended for puppet show participation).

Space is limited.
