Jenelle YeomanYeoman Inducted into Honor Society

(Oneida, NY – April 2015) Oneida High School graduate Jenelle Yeoman ’12 has been inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society at SUNY Potsdam.

Phi Kappa Phi celebrates excellence in academics and integrity of character. Their societies exist because those who founded them believed that there are achievements worthy of celebration: academic work of extraordinary quality, exemplary leadership, and research that advances human knowledge.
Yeoman was one of 31 students chosen by the University for distinguished performance in study, research and  leadership.

She is a second semester junior who has maintained highest academic standings in each of the semesters while at SUNY Potsdam.

Daughter of Michael and Michelle Yeoman of Oneida, Yeoman is a Music Education major at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music.  She is also an officer with Sigma Alpha Iota – an International Honors Music Fraternity.

Gabor Honored by National Field Hockey Coaches Association

Sarah Gabor of Cazenovia was one of 14 WPI student-athletes to earn recognition from the NFHCA for their work in the classroom.

The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2014-15 academic year while the Scholars of Distinction have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2014-15 academic year.

The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieved a minimum Team GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2014-15 academic year.

Bonavita Earns High Honors

Matthew Bonavita of Cazenovia was recently named to the high honor roll for the 2014-2015 winter term just ended at Pomfret School. A student earns high honors with a grade-point average of at least 3.5 and no grade lower than a B-. Matthew is a member of the Pomfret Class of 2015.
