(Canastota, NY – April 2015) The Boxing Hall of Fame is busy planning the 2015Hall of Fame Induction Weekend, scheduled for June 11 to 14 and is actively seeking additional volunteers for the many events.
“We have hundreds of volunteers who help each year in making the Weekend a success,” said Hall of Fame Executive Director Edward Brophy. “There are so many ways a person can help the effort, whether it’s working at the refreshment stand, the gift shop, the membership booth, helping with security, manning phones at the information booth or driving a celebrity in the Parade of Champions.”
“It’s a great way to be involved in a fun community event,” said Brophy.
The Hall of Fame is asking those who are interested in volunteering for the first time to please call the Hall of Fame at 697-7095 for more information.
