Cruisin(Hamilton, NY- May 2015) The 2015 Edition of Hamilton’s Cruisin’ will begin on Tuesday May 26 at 5 p.m. on East Broad Street, between Payne Street and John Street, along the east side of the Village Green. This weekly event will be held every Tuesday (except for June 16 for Village Elections) from 5 to 8 p.m. and will continue throughout the summer, with the final event held on Tuesday Sept. 8.

For the safety of participants and spectators, this section of East Broad Street will be closed to public traffic and parking from 4:30 to 8 p.m. during these Cruise events. This public traffic and parking ban will now be strictly enforced. This has been an increasingly serious issue in the past couple of years, with some who still decide they can go around the “Road Closed” signs and orange traffic cones and drive down E. Broad Street. This creates serious safety issues as participants and visitors, many with little children, come to the cruise night events, and gather in the street to view the many different vehicles and talk with their owners. This year, those who insist on violating this traffic and parking ban, will be reported to the Hamilton Police Department.

Owners of cruise vehicles to be displayed are asked to enter the event parking area from the Payne Street end of East Broad Street. And as always, the public is invited and encouraged to attend.
