(Oneida, NY – May 2015) The Oneida County Association of Towns (OCAOT) held their spring meeting on May 19 at Marble Hill Inn in Oneida and it featured two guest speakers.

Stephen Smith (Executive Director) from the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District, Inc., spoke on How Land Banks are Strengthening America’s Neighborhoods.

Scott McNamara (District Attorney) from the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office discussed Town Courts: Where Do We Go From Here? Both speakers took questions from the audience of more than 40 people.

The OCAOT has a goal of helping towns obtain greater economy and efficiency, and to provide learning and networking opportunities for town officials. Officials from local government in Oneida County are welcome to attend all OCAOT meetings.
