(Brookfield, NY – June 2015) Madison County Office for the Aging and Madison County Fair organizers offer free shuttle transportation to and from the Madison County Fair for seniors on Senior Day, Friday July 10.
This is the second year transportation was made available to those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend the fair. The wheelchair-accessible bus departs from Stoneleigh Apartments, Canastota at 10:10 a.m.; Cedar Street Apartments, Morrisville at 10:35 a.m.; Big Lots parking lot, Hamilton at 10:45 a.m. and Madison Lane Apartments, Hamilton at 11 a.m.
Senior Day includes entertainment by the Buffalo Barfield (traditional troubadours), senior citizen drawings for prizes, poetry readings, a BMX bike stunt show and the farm animals, displays on gardening, baking, sewing, flowers, local history and more.
The bus leaves the fair at 3:30 p.m. to return to all the pick-up points.
