Doodle with a Purpose Workshop

All are invited to join Jeanette Robertson Michael, local artist and author of books on how to make greeting cards, for “Doodle with a Purpose,” a drawing workshop in the Cazenovia Public Library Community Room on Friday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to noon

If you can hold a pen, you can do this art form.  There is no right or wrong, and all that’s needed is a desire to have fun.

Since almost everyone doodles from time to time, this workshop will give participants an opportunity to use lots of lines and shapes to turn those ordinary doodles into an art form.   In the end, not only is art created, but the brain is also exercised, focus is sharpened, and eye/hand coordination is increased.

Space for this workshop is limited.  Stop by or call the Library at 655-9322 to reserve a spot.  All materials will be provided.

Watch for details on the second workshop “Iris Folding” to be held on Friday, August 21st.

“Doodle with a Purpose” is free and open to the public.

For more information on the workshop or other events at the Cazenovia Public Library, call 655-9322 or visit www.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org.
