(Cazenovia, NY – July 2015) Friends and family of Katie Woodworth will present a benefit concert in her honor on Wednesday July 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Catherine Cummings Theatre at Cazenovia College.
A lifelong Cazenovian and 2010 Cazenovia High School graduate, Woodworth was in a serious car accident on May 21, 2015. She was airlifted to Upstate Medical Center and is facing a long recovery.
Vectors Lite will headline the show and will feature Bob MacBlane on lead guitar and vocals, Mike Hattala on guitar and vocals, and Marc LaJoie on bass. Cazenovia resident Kevin Roe will perform on acoustic guitar and vocals, and additional performers are also slated to take the stage.
Admission is free, but donations to defray Woodworth’s medical expenses are welcome during the event or can be sent to a special account in Woodworth’s name at Oneida Savings in Cazenovia.
