(Canastota, NY – July 2015) On the evening of July 31 the Canastota Canal Town Museum and the Village of Canastota invite the public to join cyclists with the “Tour the Towpath” to an evening of entertainment with the band Old Clay Stone from 7 to 9 p.m. and an outdoor movie about the Erie Canal entitled The Farmer Takes a Wife from 9 to 11 p.m.
The bicycle riders will be doing an overnight camp out at ZEMS Ice Cream as part of a 36 mile ride from Rome to DeWitt.
