(Hamilton, NY – Aug. 18, 2015) Our long-time Library Assistant, Sandra Crumb has announced her retirement at the end of August. Sandy has enjoyed serving the community through her work at the Library for the past 16 years, spending much of that time as our Library Assistant. She is a very special part of our Library family—not only is her position here a unique role, but she personally brings so much to her work with us and our many patrons. She will certainly be missed greatly by all, and yet we wish her all the best as she looks forward to this next phase of life, enjoying her well-earned retirement.

The public is invited to join us in a week-long celebration honoring Sandy, Aug. 24 to 28. Refreshments will be served each day, courtesy of our Friends of the Library. We hope you’ll stop by to wish her well; leave a special note or share a fond memory in the guest book; and enjoy some refreshments with us as we come together to celebrate this wonderful person and this special time for her.

Additional information about Library resources, programs and policies, as well as access to our online services, is available through the Library website http://midyorklib.org/hamilton/.  From the website, you can also sign up for our listserv and Wowbrary notices to receive emails about general Library news and newly added materials in our collections!  Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information about programs, special events, and other general Library-related information:  http://www.facebook.com/HPL.books.
