(New Hartford, NY – Sept. 2015) A community-based competitive robotics program in New Hartford recently kicked off its FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics season by reviewing key concepts and sharing collaborative project opportunities with fellow teams in their sport.
The RoboSpartans robotics team released several presentations including Outreach and Networking, 3D Printing, Engineering Notebook Development, and What to Expect as Rookie Teams both in-person and online the morning of the Excelsior Region FTC Kick-off at SUNY Polytechnic Institute on Saturday Sept. 12. More than 150 people representing 18 area teams attended the Utica event.
Prior to the official season unveiling, teams in Utica spent the morning attending sessions, working on their robots and visiting demonstration areas facilitated by the RoboSpartans, mentors and fellow team, Error404 from Central Square.
The RoboSpartans are the areas oldest and longest running robotics team.
