Jim Williams(Oneida, NY – Oct. 2015) Jim “Schemp” Williams has been an Oneida resident his entire life. He’s a hard worker, devoted dad, die hard Steeler fan and a great friend to many. Schemp was recently diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. Schemp is out of work and undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.

The benefit will be held Sunday Oct. 18 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion 398 N. Main St. in Oneida.

The benefit includes a 50/50, basket and other raffles and auctions.

Live music provided by Matt Beadle, Jonathan Coleman and Shawn “Big Sexy” Smith.

The cost is $15 per person or $25 a couple.

Tickets are available at POP-A-TOP, The Owl’s Nest, and American Legion.
