(Nov. 13, 2015) “The New York State Police has been in contact with federal officials as well as our local law enforcement partners, including the New York City Police Department, following the attacks in Paris,” said State Police Superintendent Joseph A. D’Amico. “All Troopers, including intelligence assets, have been placed on high alert and have been instructed to remain vigilant. As a precaution, State Police have increased surveillance of critical infrastructure and will be deploying additional Troopers to large public gatherings.”
