(Herkimer, NY – Jan. 26, 2016) Herkimer College will host a ‘Be the Match’ Marrow Donor Registry Drive Thursday, Feb. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center Lobby.
Be the Match is an organization that delivers a long-term cure for blood cancers to patients with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma or other life-threatening diseases in the form of a stem cell transplant.
Anyone between the ages of 18 and 44 can join the registry by filling out a short health questionnaire and having their cheek swabbed.
