(Hamilton, NY – Feb. 2016) The following activities will be held at the Hamilton Public Library.

Gear up for Seuss Saturday
We’re getting ready for the community-wide Seuss Saturday Celebration on Saturday, March 12 when Seuss fans of all ages are invited to participate in themed activities around town free of charge! For more information about Seuss Saturday and the full schedule of events, please stop by the Library, visit bit.ly/seuss2016, or call (315)228-7480.

Animal Shelter Donations
In honor of Dr. Seuss’ recently released story, What Pet Should I Get?, the Library will also be collecting items for local animal shelters as we gear up for the big event. Donated items may be left at the display table across from the circulation desk from Feb. 16-March 12 during regular Library hours.

“Where is the Cat in the Hat?” Contest
That tricky cat will be visiting different local businesses as he gets ready to celebrate Seuss Saturday. Stop by the Hamilton Public Library each week to look for clues from where he’s been and write down your best guess. If you guess correctly, your name will be entered into a Saturday drawing to win a Dr. Seuss book from the Colgate Bookstore. We have four books to give away and you can participate once every week to try to track that crazy cat as he makes his way around town.
