Cornell(Morrisville, NY – Feb. 2016) Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison is offering a session aimed at anyone raising or interested in raising poultry. Join us on Wednesday March 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Madison County CCE Office, 100 Eaton St. in Morrisville.

Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The program costs $10 per person with each additional family or farm member for $5. Registration is available online at https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/chicken101_225.

Cornell Cooperative Extension educator Erin Hull from CCE Onondaga will discuss the basics and more. The program will include breed selection, nutritional requirements, housing requirements, egg layers, and meat breeds. Bring your questions and take the guesswork out of getting started or growing your flock.
