State Police in Lowville arrested 24-year-old Cayla M. Wujek of Brantingham with one count of Aggravated Cruelty To Animals, a felony under the Ag and Markets Law.
Allegations are that on or about the Feb. 16, Wujek did intentionally kill a cat that was owned by another person, in the Village of Lyons Falls.
Wujek was arraigned in the Town of Lowville Court and then remanded back to the Lewis County Jail, where she was being held on unrelated charges.
An additional $1,000 bail was set in this case.
