Utica Zoo Rescue Worker Appreciation Day takes place on Sunday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., at the Utica Zoo. To honor the sacrifice that rescue workers make to protect, save and educate the public, Utica Zoo will be offering free admission to any rescue worker who presents his/her ID badge or card at the front gate, and their families will benefit from group rate pricing.

Rescue workers of all species are welcome: paid or volunteer; firefighters or police officers; sheriffs or troopers; forest rangers or conservation officers; EMTs, ambulance personnel, or SPCA workers! Stroll through the beautiful Utica Zoo, enjoy your family, treat yourself to an ice cream cone, and de-stress with animals and nature.

To stay up to date on all things Utica Zoo, visit UticaZoo.org, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram @UticaZoo.
