image002The Central New York Veteran’s Outreach Center would like to ask the community to help raise funds for a WWII Veteran, whose house was damaged in the flood of 2013. The Veteran’s Outreach Center is assisting in the promotion of this Veteran’s need.

WWII Veteran Lloyd Gallup was born in the town of Ilion Nov. 8, 1920. In 1942, Mr. Gallup was drafted and served until 1945, when he was honorably discharged from the United States Army.

Please see the attached article, written by Mr. Gallup’s Case Manager, Joylyn Perkins, with the Catholic Charities Disaster Response and Recovery Office for further information about this truly remarkable WWII Veteran.

We encourage all of you to help us spread the word throughout our community to assist in fundraising for the reparation of this man’s foundation. Mr. Gallup has a GoFundMe page, and we also encourage the media to interview Mr. Gallup, in hopes to further promote fundraising efforts.

His GoFundMe page can be found here: gofundme.com/277uf5jp

Any questions, please call Alessandra Miller (315) 939-4523.
