On June 23, at approximately 1:30 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Bryn Mawr Drive in the Town of Onondaga. Investigation at the scene revealed the operator, Jacob A. Milliord, 26, of 109 Norris Ave., Auburn, was operating with a suspended license, and was in possession of marijuana. Further investigation revealed that Milliord and his passenger, Aaron T. Aroneck, 26, of 6497 County Line Road, Skaneateles, were also in possession of heroin, cocaine, and hypodermic needles.
Both were taken into custody and transported to SP Lafayette where they were charged with the following:
Milliord: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a class “A” misdemeanor (two counts), Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument, a class “A” misdemeanor, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, a misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation
Aroneck: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a class “A” misdemeanor (two counts), Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument, a class “A” misdemeanor
Both suspects were arraigned in Onondaga Town Court. Milliord was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center in lieu of $2,500 cash or bond. Aroneck was arraigned on both the current charges, and a previous unrelated charge, and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center in lieu of $5,000 cash or bond.
