Dave Thompson chef-head shotOld Forge, New York (June 20, 2016) –View, a multi-arts center located at 3273 State Route 28 in Old Forge, NY, announces a culinary workshop with Big Moose Inn chef, Dave Thompson, on Thursday, June 30, from noon to 2:00 pm. Sponsors include Big Moose Inn, Fulton Chain Craft Brewery, and Oil Well. The workshop coincides with View’s Branches, Brambles, and Roots Exhibition and will be themed as such!
Cooking with Local Ingredients: Branches, Brambles, and Roots Edition with Dave Thompson will include an appetizer, which is a cheddar and beer fondue featuring Fireside beer from Fulton Chain Craft Brewery, an American amber ale with smoke and fresh pine notes. The main course is a balsamic salmon baked on a cedar plank served with a crunchy carrot slaw, and dessert is a honey roasted almond yogurt bark. The menu includes Fulton Chain Craft Brewery and Oil Well Products. You will not only learn how to make this delicious three-course meal, but you will be able to participate and help make it as well!
