Handmade Pottery Available for Purchase
The eighth annual Ice Cream Bowl Social will take place from 1:00 to 4:00 pm onFriday, July 29 in Point Park, which is in the center of Old Forge across from the Old Forge Hardware Store.
This event will feature pottery both designed and made by the potters from View, a multi-arts center in Old Forge. A pottery purchase includes ice cream from Mercer’s Dairy. There will be a variety of ice cream flavors available, as well as sundaes, brownie sundaes, and a choice of toppings. Be sure to arrive early for the best selection!
Pottery will range in price from $10 to $ 25, depending on the choice. If you choose not to purchase pottery, you may make a donation of $5 and still receive a sundae. Proceeds from the event will benefit Rintrona Ceramics Studio. Should it rain, the event will be moved to the Old Forge Fire Hall located next to Point Park.
