On Wednesday, July 20, at approximately 4:45 p.m., State Police in Marcy responded to a hit and run accident between a vehicle and a bicyclist on Trenton Road, south of Miller Road, in Marcy.
When Troopers arrived, they were told the suspect vehicle left the area. The bicyclist was identified as Suzann Kimak, 54, from Simpson Road in Remsen.
Kimak said she was traveling northbound on Trenton Road towards Miller Road when she was struck from the rear by an unknown vehicle; she said was riding her bike right of the white line along the shoulder and remembers someone from the vehicle yelling something before the impact.
Several pieces of the suspect vehicle, including a broken side mirror, were located at the scene.
