State Police have identified the vehicle and driver wanted for questioning in the Hit & Run accident that occurred July 20 on Trenton Road in the Town of Marcy.  The investigation is continuing and charges may be pending.


On Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at approximately 4:45pm, State Police in Marcy responded to a hit and run accident between a vehicle and a bicyclist on Trenton Road, south of Miller Road, in the Town of Marcy.

When Troopers arrived, they were told the suspect vehicle left the area.  The bicyclist was identified as Suzann Kimak, age 54, from Simpson Road in Remsen.  Kimak stated she was traveling northbound on Trenton Road towards Miller Road when she was struck from the rear from an unknown vehicle.  Kimak stated she was riding her bike right of the white line along the shoulder and remembers someone from the vehicle yelling something before the impact.  Several pieces of the suspect vehicle, including a broken side mirror, were located at the scene.
