Fall FestThe annual Hamilton College Fall Fest will take place Saturday, Oct. 1, on the Clinton Village Green. Fall Fest is an initiative that was started in 2002 by the Hamilton Class of 2005 to reach out and join with the local community for an afternoon of food, fun activities and entertainment.
Off the Hill Challenge
Collaboration continues between the Clinton community and Hamilton College during the Off the Hill Challenge & Fall Fest planned for the village green on Saturday, October 1st.
During Off the Hill Challenge, Hamilton students venture down College Hill Road to visit Clinton, giving them an opportunity to meet local businesses and visit the village. Students spend the afternoon sampling food and browsing stores in the Village. This is a great opportunity for many 1st year students who do not have cars as getting off the Hill can actually be a challenge. The Off the Hill Challenge gives students an easy way do so early on in the semester.
The eventful day even includes a concert from Hamilton’s Tumbling After a cappella group. Students visit participating stores, meet the owners and get a stamp to acknowledge that they visited. The first 250 students to complete the “course” receive a free t-shirt at the end.
