Once again the Munnsville Volunteer Fire Department is holding its Columbus Day Fall Barbecue.
This fundraising event will be held Sunday, Oct. 9, at the Fire House, 5210 S. Main St. (Rt. 46) Munnsville. We will begin serving dinners at 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The dinners include a half a chicken, salt potatoes, macaroni salad, baked beans, roll, ice cream, iced tea, lemonade, water and coffee.
Donations for dinners are $9.50, kids 6 – 12 are $5.50, and kids 5 and under are free. Chicken halves only are $5.50. We have a large dinning hall to sit down and eat your dinner and visit. We also will package dinners for take out.
Again, on behalf of the Munnsville Volunteer Fire Department, The fund raising committee, and myself, thank you very much for helping make our fundraisers a success. Without your help these events would not be as big of a success. We have been seeing people from towns, villages and cities that we have not seen before and continue to come back.
I would also like to extent an invitation to any of the organizations in this email to come out and join us for lunch. We would be honored to have you come visit. Come see one of our ways of being active in our community and the support we get from them.
