Library booksLearn about the new online service Hoopla being offered free of charge by the MidYork Library System to library card holders at the next Optimizing Your Online Presence program Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Oneida Public Library.

Hoopla offers library patrons online and mobile access to free first-run movies, music, eBooks, audiobooks and even comic books through a partnership with Hoopla Digital. Anyone with a Mid York Library System card can download Hoopla’s offerings online (see www.hoopladigital.com) or download Hoopla’s free mobile app on either an Android or IOS device. The apps are available at Google Play and the Apple Store.

At Wednesday’s program, participants will learn how to access and download Hoopla’s ever-growing repertory of offerings. Downloads can be made on demand at any time, whether for instant streaming or temporary downloading to smartphones, tablets and computers. Hoopla does not limit downloads per item, so holds are never required.

For more information on the Hoopla Digital service, stop by the Oneida Library, 220 Broad St., or call 315-363-3050.
