A Travel Advisory has been issued by the Madison County Sheriff due to conditions caused by the current lake effect snow event Madison County roadways are snow covered and slippery due to heavy snow and windy conditions.
This advisory includes all county, town, city and state roadways in Madison County.
Caution should be used in traveling area roadways. Give yourself adequate travel time and allow extra distance between vehicles. There are no travel restrictions, however, caution should be exercised by drivers if you must be on the roads this morning.
The public is urged to keep updated on weather conditions throughout today by tuning into your favorite media outlet or the National Weather Service website.
This advisory will remain in effect until 4 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, unless extended.
