Celebrate spring’s arrival at the Poolville Winter Farmers Market Saturday, April 1. The market is held inside the Poolville Community Center (7484 Willey Road) from 10 a.m. to noon.

Many local farmers and food producers will participate and market-goers can look forward to farm fresh eggs, cheeses, local butter, breads and specialty baked goods, lots of seasonal produce, microgreens, maple products, hand-crafted soaps, canned goods, coffee and teas, hand spun yarns, and locally raised meats.

The market is a great opportunity to get your hands on a last-minute Easter ham or lamb roast.

Support and sustain Chenango County’s agricultural heritage while shopping for good, local food for your family’s table. Many vendors accept credit/debit cards and checks. This is second-to-last Poolville winter market of the season.

The final market for the spring will be April 15. Then the outdoor market in Hamilton will begin May 6. For more information email poolvillefarmersmarket@gmail.com or visit the market’s Facebook page.
