Madison County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators, working with the Hamilton Village Police Department, wrapped up a one-month investigation into the alleged sales of bath salts Wednesday morning with the arrest of Brice B. Eaton, 21, of Hamilton.
Eaton was taken into custody by investigators after a sale was witnessed in the parking lot of a fast food establishment in the village.
He was arraigned in Hamilton Village Court on charges of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a D felony; fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a D felony; and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, an A misdemeanor.
He was remanded to Madison County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 bond. He will appear in Madison County Court April 27 to answer his charges.
