Herkimer College Head Baseball Coach Jason Rathbun earned his 400th win Monday, April 24, in game two over the Fulton-Montgomery Community College Raiders 12-1. Rathbun has led the Herkimer baseball program since 2005 and has achieved an average of 30 wins per season.

Under his leadership, the program has earned nine Mountain Valley Conference championships, five Region III championships earning trips to the NJCAA Division III Junior College World Series, and 17 players named All-American.

Rathbun has received 17 coaching awards in his tenure at Herkimer including six Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year awards (2015, 2013, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005), four Diamond American Baseball Coaches Association Regional Coach of the Year awards (2015, 2014, 2010, 2006), two NJCAA Region III Coach of the Year awards (2015, 2009) and five NJCAA District A Coach of the Year awards (2015, 2014, 2010, 2007, 2006).

The Generals were ranked No. 9 nationally in pre-season by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. This win brings the team to a 14-10 record overall.
