Recently, Assemblyman Brian Miller (R,I-New Hartford) attended the New York State Correctional Officers & Police Benevolent Association Rally in Albany to show his support for law enforcement.

“The men and women of NYSCOPBA serve the people of this state in some of the most dangerous environments possible,” said Miller. “They work in correctional facilities where they are constantly in close proximity to convicted criminals who mean to do them harm. They put their lives on the line every day so that our lives are not in danger. These law enforcement officials deserve our respect and our support to keep them safe while they keep us safe.”

Formed in May of 1998, NYSCOPBA represents over 30,000 New York State employees and retirees from the Security Services Unit. Its objectives are to improve the terms and conditions of employment, protect their members’ contractual rights, achieve legislative gains and promote the overall welfare of NYSCOPBA members.

Assemblyman Miller represents the 101st District consisting of parts of Delaware, Herkimer, Oneida, Orange, Otsego, Sullivan and Ulster counties. For more information, please visit Assemblyman Miller’s Official Website.
