Nominations Open through June 30 to Honor CNY Libraries and Library Staff
The Central New York Library Resources Council announces their second annual Library of the Year awards (in four categories) and Library Staff All-Star awards (also in four categories), honoring the outstanding work of libraries and library staff in our region.
To nominate an institution or staff member, community members can simply visit CLRC.org/awards and fill out one of our online forms OR visit the library they would like to nominate to pick up a paper nomination form. The nominations will be judged not on quantity but on quality, so we’re asking people to be specific — tell us how your library or library staff member really shines!
The following awards will be presented at our Annual Meeting this October:
● Academic Library of the Year (plaque and banner)
● Academic Library Staff All-Star (plaque and gift card)
● Public Library of the Year (plaque and banner)
● Public Library Staff All-Star (plaque and gift card)
● School Library of the Year (plaque and banner)
● School Library Staff All-Star (plaque and gift card)
● Special Library of the Year (plaque and banner)
● Special Library Staff All-Star (plaque and gift card)
